getting in a fight at the slightest remark
winning every brawl inside the park
you have respect but its not enough
you want everybody to know your tough
its all going great til you make the mistake
the tears he cries aren't fake
caught up in your anger I know you regret
even ever thing of taking that bet
talk with your tears and not your fists
the ones you hurt will be the ones you miss
take a deep breath and let our head cool down
take a small walk into town
things you can't fix that are out of reach
are the tings you hear the preachers preach
if only you'd listened to what they said
you wouldn't be here wishin you were dead
time to grow up, this is real
the people in court don't care how you feel
you want to help but it's too damn late
swallow your pride and accept your fate
talk with your tears and not your fists
the ones you hurt will be the ones you miss
take a deep breath and let our head cool down
take a small walk into town
