STITCHED PATTERN
You told me that this was how it was meant to be,
Living in a world wherein madness is entwined,
Like the thorns entangled on an unknown path,
The rapture of an unending understanding,
The silence,
Like cold darkness,
Always surrounded,
And yet so terribly alone,
I am the angel,
Loved and cherished,
The sweet justice I bear,
Revealing truths,
The world is always blind to,
In the end,
We've come so far,
For the river of life,
A destiny you foretold,
The harsh realities,
Living in a dream wherein love is life,
You lied to me in that last unbreakable moment,

- Description: This style of poetry is in fact rather rare to find in that you can read it top to bottom or bottom to top, in other words, it's reversible. It can be read with various inflections and is full of many metaphors to which each individual may relate to. It's definition and understanding is different per person. Please comment and enjoy!

- Wow, this is so crazy... in a good way. You really have a way with words. i like the starkness of the punctuation in the middle, it adds punch.
