The Names Jess
A lost soul of forgetfulness
Trapped in a surrounding of torment
A world full of hate and pain.
Forgotten, alone, confused and worried
So much on her mind
The agony
The feeling she done something wrong
With no one there
With no one to help
To much for one to handle
To much for one to comprehend
With family and friends.
Thinking and studying.
Fear of losing.
College on one end.
Life on the other.
Hidden behind the curtain
Yet trapped behind the bars
Screaming, yelling and frustration
Unable to be heard
Hiding behind a smile
Not knowing what to do
Worthless
Not knowing who to trust
Losing control
Tears falling from her eyes
Her hands shaking
Dizzy spells
Nose bleeds
Heart racing
Always cold
And always feeling alone
Wondering who will be there to hold her hand
Wondering who will catch her when she falls
She is lost
She is alone
Always alone
Blaming others
Holding her anger inside
Biting her lip
Holding back cuss words
Wanting to help those around her
Wanting to help others through their pain
Hoping that when she helps them a weight will lift off her shoulders
Curled up in corners
Arms around her legs
Rocking back and forth
Saying good bye to another day.
As she lays there,
Tears still falling
Her heart is broken
Her soul gone
She is again alone
With no one there to guide her.
No one truly beside her
She gazes out her window
As she lays there on the floor
Closing her eyes
And saying a-due
Goodnight dark sky
Good night hopes and dreams
Good bye.
Dressed all in black
From head to toe
The all attend
She actually had friends
Their tears fall
One by one
Her family cries
She feels it then
The warmth from them she forever seeked
The feeling she was looking for then
She took the easy way out
That she now sees
She opens her eyes
She seems to be on her bed
With a horror novel beside her head
she quickly jumps up and runs out her door
Down the hallway and upstairs to the second floor
Burst open her parents door
Her self in tears
Her mom just waking up and smiling
"What's wrong my dear?"
She hugs her tight.
"I don't ever want us to ever fight"
Her mom strokes her back.
And smiles with a grin.
That there I know is my first
Best friend.

- Description: My Name is Jessica. I go by Jess. I wrote this based on the fact I didn't believe in the word happiness until one night I had a nightmare.. Rate/Comment. I'm sorry if it's a depressing poem but It's not that bad, and the other types I write are personal.
