• Years have passed the days of war so far gone
The memories haunting those left behind
The scars of flesh healed, but not of the mind
Ghosts haunt from the dark as I pray for dawn

In days of our youth we fought for our land
In search of a thrill in hell we've been cast
The bombs blew 'round us we had to learn fast
We did horrid things I'm sure we'll be damned

The men I fought aside, my brothers in arm
They were the best men, the best of my friend
We served through hell some saw horrible end
Still we fought on with no regard to harm

Those of us left behind never forget
We suffer our scars of fear and regret
