To be lively, joyous
This is not what I am

I gaze at the moon, I reveal myself
I am a mirror, a shadow
To be feared, respected
To be dead, unspoken
This is not me, this pain
This disdain, this Despair, This Insanity

really well written. the way you kept the lines short, almost leaving out words speaks more about what you're trying to say then if you were to actually spell it out.
