It's odd how much I miss you
your touch, your voice and smile
after all the pain I've been through
my heart is something vile
It's hard for me; to press ahead
a shadow of your past
a shadow filled with dread
who follows as a gahst
You move quickly trying to hide
a knight so valiant
by your side
who's protection you'll not grant
But listen, look, and wait
to the things I have to say
but too late now you've taken their bait
and since become the prey
I tried to tell you, though to warn
tried to guide you make you see
But all you did was glare and scorn
and I was right, in warning thee
You called me jealous, called me fink
But I was right, and told you so
did you think I'd speak, and first not think
I tried to cushion, this crushing blow
They lied, they plotted
and schemed away
watched and waited, with notes they'd jotted
till it came, their perfect day
And now I'll say, "I told you so"
and relish now, in the pain we share
but being spiteful kills my flow
and so I'll take you, from their lair

- Title: I told you so
- Artist: SpickkyMickSpickle
- Description: I wrote this poem when some one I loved was hurt by a friend of theirs. I had warned her that it was coming and in the end I hated saying I told you so, even though I had thought that it would make me feel better. ANYWAYS, I hope you all like it.
