You too can hear it
The drip of water from an underground cave
Or the groan of a mummy
Sound asleep in its grave
Adventures all around
Under rock or stone
But most don’t seem to care
And wind up alone
The brave or the weak
Must go and explore
Although some paths seem dark
Most lead too much more
Without adventure or tests
No one will learn
And all the while
The sit back as the world turns
But still few remain
Under their little rock
With all time passing by
With the tick of the clock
But that life’s not for many
Who know that to well
That their stories are endless
Stories only they can tell
Tales of sadness and joy
Most lead to an end
But if you don’t finish
You start over again
For life isn’t life
Without mischief of thrill
Just take on the risk
Go in for the kill
