• Crimson upon snow

And for I stared onto her cold soft lips and kissed them for the last time before she was swept beneath the cold icy ground.
Her eyes stared into mine. The seemed so blank.
There was no laughter, no joy, no love.
She didn't seem like what she once was. Her skin was almost as white as the snow.
I gripped my fists as tears stung my cheeks.
Her blood ran through the snow as it looked as red as her lips.
    My head was screaming.
How could she leave me alone on such a blackened world, no matter how bright the snow was.
Her lips didn't have the normal curve of the crescent moon, and her smile as bright as the sun, didn't rise this time.
I was hoping, praying, that this was all a dream, but this dream didn't end.
I loved her so. Why did she leave me here?
