How Am I To Say Goodbye?

sitting by the lake in a cold autumn night
your blush shines in the pale moonlight
the blue ocean rushes in your eyes
how am i to say goodbye

i cant sleep when i see
the clock winding down on you and me
i see your smile in the sky
how am i to say goodbye

best friends we will stay
forever it will stay that way
but when you leave i will cry
how am i to say goodbye

in my arms forever be
warm and safe from everything
but very soon you shall fly
how am i to say goodbye

Us, Forever, YOU & ME

in your arms am i safe
in your heart am i resident
in your smile i melt
you are my contentment

by your side i stand
by His grace i have you
by time this ends
i will be amoung the blue

at the time i depart
at the moment goodbye is said
at that time it will break my heart
we fear what we dread

so don't think of saying goodbye
think instead of times gone by

i will always love
you are always mine
we will always be
us, forever, YOU & ME
