As I was walking in the forest,
I came across two roads.
And the roads were seperated by a river of blood.
The road to my left,
Was wide and spacious.
But lined with tombstones and skeletons.
The road to my right,
Was narrow and cramped.
But lined with lushous green vegetation.
But the left road was easy to travel.
For it was flat and level.
But had an eerie light.
As for the right road was hard to travel.
For it was rocky and filled with ditches.
But gave off a cheerful atmosphere.
For one is cheerful but hard to travel,
And the other is gloomy and easy to travel.
Oh please somone tell me! Which one do I take?

Description:
This poem is some-what similar to Robert Frost's "The Road Not Taken". I was also inspired a scripyure in the Bible, Matthew 7:13,14.
This poem represents a life/death situation (represented by the river of blood). One road leads to ever-lasting life, and the other to certain destruction. Tell me what ya think. :) - Date: 11/02/2009

- I would take the road that is hard to travel. because from my point of veiw, in order to achive your goal you have to work for it. if you work hard you will recieve a reward.

- Thats very powerful... this is a nice pull from the Bible's tale of he 2 gates. So which road would you take? Where one would go down the one that is easy to travel, there is always a lesson to learn when walking down the rocky one. These poems (Frost's and yours) is a great way to point out the complexity of man's thinking process; will he chose based on previous trails or will he chose upon abstract knowledge? Very nice indeed
