This world is rotten, it dies within,
it cries for Death and screams for Him.
Why- is there a reason?- question, why,
as the Cthulhu woke up one shinny day,
how can it eat and tear apart the land?
Tentacles, of clay, metal, the blood of Earth,
under the halo of stars, over the sea,
the eyes, soul-eating, stare, and gaze,
they see the poison already shed,
they see the wounds of nature,
what others have done, what they did,
they see...
Enraged, it will devour all air, along with souls,
Enraged, it will demolish all they built,
And darkness, and lightning, and some ruins,
enraged, as the great unholy God, enraged,
as he will trek with a step in the core.
And it will slaughter, and it will feed on,
under the light of all the doomed souls.
And then, with one glance, the stars...
all the stars- they will explode.
And the world, will find peace.

Description:
Poetry usually doesn't need explanations. Every poem must mean something different to every reader, or its just too personal. So, I question you, reader, why to wake the Cthulhu?
ps: okay, explanation: the cthulhu being was the idea born in the head of H.P. Lovecraft. I cannot say I'm a fan, but I like the idea of a colossal entity that eats souls and will eventually destroy this world.
So, WHY WAKE THE CTHULHU ? - Date: 09/11/2009
