    We hold our breath before we plunge ourselves
    into the darkness of the night.
    Where is that light?
    The light that brought us faith,
    when all we say was darkness.
    That light is gone,
    and in place of it,
    is your favorite shade of black.
    The depths of the light
    just beyond our finger tips.

    But what would happen if we grasped that light;
    and held it between our hands.
    Would it blind us from the reality,
    that darkness holds.
    Or could it show us the truths,
    that the darkness hides.

    Does this darkness fill the room?
    Or does the light just leave?
