I step in the sunny spot
Surronded by shade
People are passing me
But I still stay.
I stand in the sunny spot
Watching the clouds
They seem so dark, so large
So very far away.
I stand in the sunny spot
Alone for now
Unitl I step onward
To the shade beyond.
I leave the sunny spot
And look behind
It beckons at me
Looking warm and well.
I walk away from the sunny spot
Leaving it behind
Let someone else step in
And look up at the sky.

- Nice poem. It's simple but gets its message across. I think the metaphor really does get itself across, taking a risk to keep living when you could just stand in a nice, safe place for a long time. That's the most effective part of the poem, I would say. It's pretty average overall, though. It could use a rhyme scheme or more sensory language. It's a very good start though - keep writing, and I think you could do lots with your poetry in time.

- Haha! And that's where I go every day to watch my clouds and go. "Man, Masha needs to come over soon." ^^ It's really pretty masha. I liked it alot.
