in my dreams youre always next to me.
in my dreams im the best sis i could be.
but in the real world thats not how it is.
because everyday its dylan that i miss.

youre only nine years old.
and your dad treats you so cold.
now hes in new mexico
and to our mother you shall go.

hopefully ill see you then,
with the gift that God did send
maybe then ill live with you
and teach you how to tie your shoes.

ill always be there til the end.
and ill never leave you ever again.
