Today’s love flows into lucid dreams;
A parallel of the fantasy.
Deceit meets truth,
The creation of this reality,
leaving those empty smiles & false tears, nothing more than a nightmare.
If emotions are no more than facade,
Then let me stay, amidst my bliss
And ignorance;
So beautiful…so pure…so Real.

- Title: "Love's Ultimate Qualm."
- Artist: the Renaissance Lives
- Description: I've had a full 18 years of life, and throughout my journey I came across a lot of doubt/cynical disbelief and questioning which left me rather heartless. It toyed with me (or perhaps I was doing it to myself) to the point of nearly losing touch with the ability to recognize a conscious reality....and so alas, I've found that some things simply aren't meant to be analyze, just accepted. We find enlightenment even beyond knowledge. :)

- Full 18 years of life? sorry if i sound cynical but how little you have lived. We will live for around 80 years. To that, 18 is so little. I have lived almost 18 myself, and while it may seem like alot to me, I can still see the path of my life stretching out far ahead. Oh, and to The sacred empress person (first comment). This is nowhere NEAR abstract. It is very clear. Poetry is not a dictionary, nor is it a picture book. This poem is intended to be read by those who will understand it.

This is way too abstract for us earthlings. Please indicate some illustrative situations, some poetic constructs- your message is less likely
to miss if you transmit it to us with some imagery,just a bit. no need to be parse though about it. - Report As Spam
