• (The 1st mate has been shot in the pirates' fearsome battle against the zombie horde of the evil Overlord of the future. Wyatt rushes to his side.)

    Wyatt: Y-you said you'd never leave me! You said we didn't lie!

    1st Mate: W-we don't...

    Wyatt: Then why did you tell me that pirates never die?

    1st Mate: Pirates never die.
    They can only fade.
    Keep the dream alive,
    and we'll sail away.

    (The 1st mate dies, and the rest of the crew lower their head in silence.)

    Crew: So far away.

    (The battle resumes, and while the pirates fight valiantly, they are no match for the walking dead. As the zombies shuffle off to wreak more havoc, Wyatt is left alone among his dead comrades.)

    Wyatt: I've shared your dreams.
    I've known your hope.
    I've been with you through thick and thin
    in nautical camraderie!

    But now you're gone.
    Flown away to pirate Valhalla.
    The zombie army marches on,
    and lays siege

    to all we've known.
    They destroy all we've shared.
    They march on,
    and now you're gone

    forever...

    (The Overlord enters, flanked by two zombie bodyguards.)

    Overlord: At last! We meet again!

    There lies the Earp man
    alone and defenseless!
    Go forth my zombies,
    and beat him senseless

    NOW
    while he is unaware!

    Look!
    He can't even look us in the eye.
    He's ashamed of how his pirates died
    so easily, and fell before our mighty
    MIGHT!

    Crew: Pirates never die...

    (The 1st mate rises from the ground, and starts towards the Overlord.)

    1st Mate: They can only fade.

    Wyatt: I-I watched you die!

    (The crew rises. The 1st mate and the crew begin to fight the zombies. The Overlord watches, stunned.)

    Crew: Keep the dream alive.

    Wyatt: This is no dream!

    Crew: And we'll sail away...

    (The crew exits the stage with the zombies leaving the Overlord and Wyatt Earp alone.)

    Wyatt: I understand now...

    Overlord: Are you kidding me? That made no sense!

    Wyatt: Pirates never die.
    They can only fade.
    I'll keep the dream alive,
    and sail away.

    Overlord: What...?

    Wyatt: Pirates never die.

    Overlord: Stop that.

    Wyatt: They can only fade.

    Overlord: I'm serious.

    Wyatt: I'll keep the dream alive,

    Overlord: Stop singing!

    Wyatt: and sail away!

    Overlord: Look around you!

    Wyatt: Pirates never die!

    Overlord: They are all dead!

    Wyatt: They can only fade.

    Overlord: Into nothingness!

    Wyatt: I'll keep the dream alive,

    Overlord: The dream of fools maybe!

    Wyatt: and sail away.

    Overlord: You won't run away!

    (Wyatt charges the Overlord, and a fearsome battle ensues. After a few seconds of intense fighting, they back away, and circle each other as they continue to sing.)

    Wyatt: I had an army of naval warriors!
    The best ever seen!

    Overlord: I had a horde of the living dead!
    Not one had a spleen!

    Wyatt/Overlord: This is it! We're getting closer now!
    Only one can survive!

    Wyatt: You've forgotten something, Overlord.

    Overlord: Oh, have I?

    Wyatt: Yeah.

    Overlord: That's right.

    Wyatt/Overlord: I WILL NOT DIE!

    (They resume their fighting. With a surge of unexpected brutality, Wyatt starts beating the Overlord, and brings him to his knees.)

    Wyatt: This is it! I feel it coming!
    The end for you is nigh!

    Overlord: Unless...

    Wyatt: Unless?

    (The Overlord throws himself on Wyatt's sword. As he does so, he manages to thrust his own through Wyatt's chest. Wyatt takes a few steps back, and looks at the Overlord. Both are gasping.

    Wyatt/Overlord: We both...

    (They fall to the ground.)

    END
