I used to just sit here, and placidly wonder...
Where could you be, and are you looking for me?
Staring up at the stars, the loneliness hurts so much...
How far might you be from me...?
It seems like we're worlds apart, like I'm wasting my time...
There's so much time in the world, but I can only stand loneliness for so long,
so I sit down to imagine myself with you, your eyes aglow from the light of the fireflies.
And then I wonder more, are you doing the same...?
Are you among the fireflies as well, imagining yourself with me...?
The loneliness must be terrible, I only wish I could help you...
Whoever you are, wherever you might be, I'll cross these worlds to find you,
so that neither of us must face this loneliness anymore.
But for now, we'll just sit like this... together even if only in our hearts,
and we'll dream... we'll dream of the day we truly meet... and, on that day,
there will be no more need to sit here alone, wondering like this. Instead...
We'll be sitting together, smiling at the rise of dawn, no longer lost within the fireflies.

- Description: A poem for those who seek their "one", or even those who already think they know who their "one" is. Best of luck to all of you like myself, who seek the person most special in their lives.
