If I Were Dead

If I were dead,
I would not see
All the people the hate me
I would not know,
About the arrow
That scarred me narrow

If I were dead,
No one would care
About the tear,
That lies in my heart
Surrounded by a million darts

If I were dead,
I wouldn’t be able to disappoint you
With the foolish things that I do
I wouldn’t say a word
As everything around me blurred

If I were dead,
I would not hear
The sound of your cheer
When I disappear
