People running off,
Running around having a blast,
Getting "laid" and drinking alcohol, as some say,
Forgetting all about the past.
Past was previous,
But does 5 years ago even count?
Back then you were probably that one kid...
That one kid who used to treat his parents with a sufficient respectful amount.
Remember those days,
Those days where FAMILY NIGHTS had a meaning,
But all of that is gone,
You pretty much jacked up your parent's feelings...
Feelings of being secure with your family,
Where no secrets were hidden,
If you held a secret from the others,
Everything you had touched was forbidden.
But its okay, most say,
"Back then was then, and whats now is now.
I can care less of what was back then..."
But one more question, a thought to ponder on, basically a "how"
How would you feel, if you lost it all,
You lost all that materialistic things, and even your friends.
When all is gone, except for your loving family,
Would you think your life would be at a complete end?
- Title: Teenage Revolution.
- Artist: Mimarae
- Description: This poem was just a thought that popped upon me. By my personal obsevations, more teens are less interested in spending time with their family. To me, thats no problem because I am completely family orientated, but I balance things out with still hanging out with my friends. So basically this poem challenges the teenage readers to try being more family orientated, if they're not already.

- It's hard for me to be family-oriented. I hate being dependent on anything, and my family is keeping me alive and giving me shelter. I don't ask for anything, but every thing they do for me is held over my head, like a leash. My home is my cage. But when I go out with friends, it's like breathing fresh air after a life of taking in pollutants.
