Away from cold unfeeling light
to hidden shadows in the night
Listen to mournful bell tolls
with a heart now black as coals
Such as sin should not be forgiven
so to madness i am driven
trapped in such a state of mind
no compassion, no mercy, nothing kind
So tonight there is nothing i can gain
no more sorrow, no more pain
for never shall my heart have peace
only in my sleep shall the screaming cease
so in sleep i shall condemn
rather than notice no amends
now i see my heart is numb
for this grief i shall never overcome
with a heart that has no feeling
and a hole that is not healing
i grab the object from the table
just to see if i am able
then it strikes me with such force
that i feel no remorse
while i lie on the floor
with the end knocking at my door
the head tilts, the eyes turn back
then death in an eternal black
