All our lives
We want to be remembered
For something we did,
For someone we changed,
Or for just being a good friend.
We believe
That we can leave an imprint on history
If we try hard enough
But we don't have to try hard
To leave an imprint
On someone's life.
That person will remember you
And keep your legacy alive.
Then not only will one person remember you
But that person will tell others of you
And those people will remember the things you have done.
We go through our lives trying to leave imprints,
But we don't realize
That the little things we do
Leave the biggest imprints.
