The afternoon is coming to its knees
It’s almost over
Finally
In what way was today spent?
In such a way
My will is bent
Today was like all other days
Trying to navigate
Through a haze
A hopeless maze
What to do, oh what to do
What does it matter, anyways?
It’ll all restart at morning light
And I’ll be tired
By time of night
Tired of life, tired of me
Tired of hate, tired of glee
Tired of all which is in store for me
Let me rest
You hear my plea
Let me rest
Oh please let me
My hands are torn
My words forlorn
My eyeballs ache
This is as much
As I can take
But there will be more
Of that much I’m sure
Tomorrow will come
And bring with it more

- I felt a little hitch in the rhythm, I feel like the Rhyming was kind of forced. The direction you are heading is interesting and it has good potential. It's just not there yet.
