Well, it's not a poem. At all. Perhaps if you tried making more lines? For example:

"This darkness runs inside of me,
Some that no one else will ever see,
The day grows old with despair,
I only seek my love, isn't that fair,"

That was off the top of my head, but whatever.. Basically, it doesn't have to be good. It just has to be longer than one line. Better luck next time.
