“If I should die before I wake
I pray my soul my lord to take.”
And with these words I bow my head,
I take my life
I’m finally dead.
If you knew my story
Then you wouldn’t judge.
You would be sad
And hold no grudge.
Yet you slowly shake your head
She is finally gone,
She is finally dead.
With her parents crying and weeping in the other room
She died too young
She died too soon.
We couldn’t save her
It was way too late.
And now she has entered through the
Devil’s gate.
Yet her death holds an unknown story
Filled with pain,
Then bitter glory.
