• Sadness to Anger, Anger to Rage
Another truth written on a blank page
    A fairy tale gone awry,
The Princess with an urge to cry

    The Prince stands her up,
    Ignorant to her fragile heart
    Hearing the horrible truth
Her heart, so very soft, breaks apart

    Sadness flows through her veins
Splattered on her dress are the tear stains
'Meant to be,' he first said
    Now those words are dead

Instead of crying, she now screams
    She's at her wit's end
    Life ripped at the seams
Her heart too shattered to mend

    Anger takes place of sadness
As she rips apart the wedding dress
    Memories run through her mind
"No," she whispers, "Not this time."

    Destructive and troubled
    The King's worried
    Blind to the Prince's stupidity
Blind to his daughter's diminishing sanity

One night, she burns the past
The dress, the ring, the words said
    Gone with a heat blast
She hopes the prince is dead

    Her wish is answered
    One year later, it seems
    She sees the Prince
    Kissing his "new dreams"

    Anger fueled into rage
Her heart released from his cage
Takes a dagger to the new girl's heart,
    "That's for tearing mine apart."

Scared and flustered, the Prince runs
Trips over the fresh corpse, stunned
    Blood and sweat trickling,
    Together as one

    One stab after another
    The Princess laughs
As long as no one's there
    To tell the Royal Staff

Sadness to Anger, Anger to Rage
Another truth written on a once blank page
Two people dead, a heart once shattered,
Now at peace, the Princess lives Happily Ever After
