Love is a terrible thing,
Leaves us broken down,
Sick, striving, weary,
And bound in chains.
Love is a wonderful thing,
Gives us a hope,
A passion, a connection,
And a will to go on.
Love is a curious thing,
With mysteries still unsolved
unusual behaviour, worries cast aside,
And courting of the preferred sex.
Love is a many things to many people,
From pleasure to worry,
A play on emotions, a drive to survive,
But love shall always endure within the heart.

- Title: Love Is...
- Artist: IMoonDancer
- Description: One of my many love poems. The poem was inspired by a former teacher who requested we find a way to define love. It's one of my better works ^^ Constructive criticism welcome, but please don't put my writing down if you don't like it.

- While I disagree with your definitions, it flows quite nicely. Though love has become an unoriginal, recurring theme... eh.
