As I walk alone,
Along a rain-soaked street,
I spot a thin notebook
That dropped right at my feet.
It is black, sleek and leather bound;
Curiosity gets the best of me,
This book is just what I found,
It could be my destiny.
With a shinigami's help and eyes,
I can kill with the stroke of a pen;
I can do homework, listen to music, and eat potato chips,
Then the process starts all over again.
People call me Kira, a killer who's a mystery.
The police ask and I deny everything to their face.
It'll take a sugar-crazed detective in history
To craftily solve the huge murder case.
I am Kira in secret- that doesn't change who I am.
Going to school and getting good grades is easy for me.
When I come home, it's a different game plan,
Killing people is what I do- the unaware can't see.
As I come to the end of the very last page,
I laugh a cold demonic laugh with my last breaths.
My heart stops and I know the end of an age.
My name in the notebook was my ultimate death.
- Title: Death Note Poem
- Artist: Chrona_13
- Description: This poem is a little different. I wrote it when I saw my friend Amy with her little Death Note notebook. I also was inspired to write it after I saw Death Note I. It is based off of the movie. This is my original writing. (Note: The sugar-crazed detective is in reference to L). Just a little something different for you guys. Please rate of 4 or 5, comment, and enjoy. ^_^
