The sound I always
heard before I go in
trouble when I was little.
I wish life was
still as easy as
Kindergarten, where
drama was someone
stealing your crayons
or knocking over your
tower of blocks.
I wish I could take back
all of the hurtful
things I ever said to
you and make them go
away with a hug,
like Kindergarten.
