-
I hear a voice without a face
That I remember sweetly
And I recall that it could sail
Like dreams, so indiscreetly.
I feel a heart imprisoned so,
away from where it longs.
Not of another, and yet it knows
Of daylight's nightly songs.
One stops to hear, one speaks to say
One dies to grin, one sails the bay.
But one still, cuffed by the day
Is held captive by monotonous replay.
