my soul cries for forgiveness
but my heart wont receive
the selfish acts done to them
they wont let me breathe

the guilt the pain the sorrow
they just wont seem to die
this madness inside of me
my eyes are never dry

my old world is ending
a world born anew
is my only last wish
new as the mourning dew
