I made it last, I went cold
Five of the best months of my life
couldn't find it's happy ending
It fell under the pressure of life
I'd give up anything, to tell her everything
She left for hood, and i lay dieing
Funny how it rained all day
Put a bullet in my heart to fill the gap
You gotta lock me up, love
Because I believe lies and throw away the truth
She was my favorite, she was my last
She was the best lie I ever took
North is south, east is west
My life was thrown in reverse
Now I'm looking for my whats-her-name
Whoever she may be.

- I don't really care for it. There are many reasons I could point out, but that whole drug addiction thing has been played by 100 different bands. So the unoriginality is the biggest problem I have with it. There are some good metaphors in it though, yet they are meaningless. "Put a bullet in my heart to fill the gap" prime example. Read Tool's lyrics, very poetic even though they're songs. Btw, what is the name of the band you are in?
