They love to say i have it all
Im being served by a tray
But have they ever seen me fall?
What i deal with everyday?
A smile isn't always truth
My laugh is full of lies
Your smile makes me chip a tooth
Your laughs fill me with cries
Why do i always make a fib
Whenever people ask about my life?
Inside my heart is just a crib
Protecting its contents from an armed strife
My thoughts are always at a whirl
As we sit here hanging out
Our inside jokes could make me hurl
Our secrets make me want to shout
We play our games
We have our fun
I wont mention names
You'll know if your the ones
The ones who dare
To speak those words
Why act like you care?
Your real thoughts are like swords
They rip me apart
But all i do is smile and laugh
How did this start?
I feel so used, i need a bath
My smiling face can be a plus
My laugh can make you blind
But i do nothing but lie, and Thus
My heart you'll never find
So when you're passing by the street
And happen to catch a glimpse of me
Just shake your head in mere defeat
Theres nothing but a shell to see
