The Mirror

• Description: this is a poem i wrote for a school project, one of many. i wrote it in wake of minor trauma, but at the time it seemed huge. but i like this poem for how it can apply to any saddenss and just bewilderment and sort of helplessness. it was liked by several of my classmate for how real it sounds, and how it is easy to relate to. but you can react how you will.

I look
I see
My reflection
Staring back at me
My tears
They fall
And break
Like fragile glass
The cold
And hate
Of all the worlds
Trapped
In eternal solitude
Mirror mirror
On my heart
Tell me all I need to hear
Mirror mirror
Tell me please
How to save the world
