    From afar they appear just the same,
    Both filled with alike sadness and pain.

    For the difference between a fallen tear and the rain.

    Guess it could be where they come from.
    Tears from an eye that's sad or worrisome,
    And rain from clouds that carry 'em.
    But thats just scatching the surface of the two

    Rain brings water to places far and near
    But what good ever came from a tear?
    Its just a hurting hearts expression
