When you go
I will be there to hold your hand
I will be there to sit beside you

When you go
I will remember
all the good and bad times we had
I will write and read and sing
all of the things that remind me of you

When you go
I will stop and visit all of the places that you've been
I will visit your grave and leave flowers of your favorite kind

When you go
I will be broken, sad and lost
I won't want to live on
but I know i'd soon forget
you will always be my first love
and the one I miss the most

When you go
a part of me will go too
