I will always be pretty in my own mirror.
To you I may be hideous, to you I may be hot.
But to me I'm not.
I'm pretty.
Because I will always be pretty in my own mirror.
People may stop and stare because I'm standing there.
I don't care I know I'm pretty.
My hair glistening in the winter sun,
and complexion smooth as you hun.
But your not pretty.
Being rude and evil doesn't make you pretty.
It makes you ugly but I'm not.
I'm pretty,
and I will always be pretty in my own mirror.

Just a poem about how I feel about the world. I know this isn't professional so I don't need you criticism. My first poem I have ever posted. So don't be harsh. - Date: 12/13/2008

- I think that this is good because it exposes a new way of thinking to the wrold. Before I read this poem I always thought that in my mirror What I saw was hideouus. And even if someone is harsh , you should except it and take it in, because their not trying to be mean to make you feel bad, they are trying to help you. Harsh critisiscm is good, and without it we might have musuems full of maccorroni art. Keep writing, and make sure you try your best! :p
