-
We stood outside in snow,
we shook for hours but never gave a thought towards going home.
And I played it dumb,
gave me an image that could never disappoint anyone.
A sight for sore eyes
I’ve got my hands to the sky
You held me higher than god
I want you back in my life
Whatever the cost I’m willing to pay the price.
Answer the prayers,
they’re flies caught in a spider’s web.
Just work away your years,
they’re grains of sand in an hour glass.

- This poem reminds me off all the things Ive went through in these past couple month. I reread it because I couldn't believe how truly it fit. The first time I read it I was a little jarred but now, somehow it seems comfortable and it helped me think. So thank you for your wonderful poem. I'm glad I found it! Keep on writing. (:
