Once I had a dream
That a handsome prince had come to me
He made my eyes, full of love, gleam
Once upon a dream

He came to my window and sang a sweet tune
Complimented my beauty and loved me
But it ended far too soon
Once, upon a dream

One day he stole a kiss
One night he stole me
But, I was not last on his list
Once upon a dream

One day he left too quick
One night he didn't come
And I began to feel sick
Once upon a dream

Next time he came by my window
He was with another girl
And as I cried in distraught, "NO!"
The dream came to an end
