You told me once you only wanted to be friends,
I had once told you the same.
But now I am afraid that as come to an end,
For now I have told you.

Out of respect I stay back,

wow thats exactly how i feel but its so hard to hide 5/5 that poem anyone can relate to it wether you tell them you just wanna be friends or not sometimes everything is told by facial expression and they way they act around you but you really got to the point its hard to just be friends with someone when you have a crush on them

If this is how you feel, don't hide it. It makes it hard to continue friendships that way. Though I don't believe its a crush, you are starting to like him more than just a friend. I don't know how long you two have been friends, but if you have known each other for a while, it should be okay to express how you feel about him. I feel in all reality, staying just friends may be better, platonic friendships generally work out better than having a relationship. I give this a 4/5.
