I'm an Expired poet

These dying words in a coffin

Failed the best play,

Failed the memories and dreams,

Failed to write a love letter


There's not much to write

This failed poem of mine,

So I'm going to put this weary pen aside.


If you read this poem,

Remember the hand that wrote it cover in blood

Not much to remember.

I like it. It flows very well, and kind of makes me think of a person trying their hardest to make one last touch with the living world but knowing their failing.
