shes actually my grandmother but my adopted mom and she thinks he'll change but i know he won't

You can call abused hotlines for that, or depending on who has sole custody your mom and you could get away. My mom was in an abusive relationship and I could never stand to see her personality drifting away. Finally she got away with me and my sister.
