Heartbeat.
Fear.
Heartbeat
Panic.
Heartbeat
Sorrow.
Heartbeat
We race across this broken lines
our lungs stung cold with razors
sharp as a word, yet intended to kill
where did the pride go?
Distant yells and screams of anger
we run away from like fleeing deer
I thought we were supposed to be stronger than that?
Shut up and keep running.
If you want to save your mind.
They're coming to get us,
Oh god, they're going to catch up.
Don't raise your voice. There's no way we'll be able to get too far.
I'm so tired of running; my legs ache with the strain
even my adrenaline cries out to be terminated--
how painful can death really be?
That's not how we're supposed to think, though.
If life and death are such a natural circle, then
why are we scared to keep moving forward?
It's only human to want to survive.
What about those who gave up?
They got out easy. Quickly. Mercifully.
I said SHUT UP and keep running!
C'mon. It takes three seconds.
You'd take your own life like a coward?
Too scared to go on, are you?
You disgust me, you crying children.
Hey, we're still running.
And that's all we ever do, isn't it?
Run and run and run...
run until we can't feel our feet,
run til we don't even remember why we started running in the first place,
and then we're STILL running.
Where are we running?
I thought I told you to shut up.
Don't question me.
Don't think.
Just run.
