I am static, plus time and space with me,
To our special corner I’m back again.
Memories mute soft breezes from the sea,
In the quiescence, love to you I send.
Three hundred and sixty torturous days,
Since we last crossed pinkie, our final hymn.
Stars echo ‘D’s and ‘A’s, atop I gaze,
‘Three sixty more’ spelt agony it seemed.
Ultimately our palms coinciding,
That moment marks our bouleversement.
Your essence of perfume reminiscing,
In my head at least, ‘til the crack of dawn.
Holding fast to the promise, I abide,
I vow: In the six billion, you, I’ll find.
