Biggest Lie
I have felt the loss
Of a thousand lives
But still can’t die
If they can, why not I?
Know not what to count
I know only how
One…two…what now?
What have I to endow?
Sacred these gifts be
All is owed to me
I exist, see?
I’m a still growing tree
Branches, branches out
Count: one, two, three, four
Hold on, no more
We must go through the door
Numbers, living here
Too many, too much
A required crutch
I will not live as such
Devil, god, as one
Two ideas, one hand
Heartbroken land
Sapphire skies, diamond sands
Perfection’s not here
Good and bad the same
Naught but a name
A blessing that’s for shame
Admiration and disgust
Love stemmed from lust
All I used to trust
Nothing but fables
Enemies turned friend
Beginning that’s an end
Classic? Or a trend?
Nothing but labels
All I used to need
Now makes me bleed
Inside, where you can’t see
All my old dreams
Come apart at the seams
Consequences I reap
Good, bad, or not
Love, hate, or not
Clear day, rain, or not
Disbelief and doubt
Culminate in one shout
It’s what I’m all about
All alone am I
In my life and biggest lie

- this is going to be really mean but it sounds like inane ramblings. if it had more focus sure but it doesn't sound like it has any focus at all.
