• I will tell you a tale,
About a young man that went to sail.
The troubles he faced, the mission he failed.
The things the boy did to get himself in jail.

It was long ago, when he was a wee lad.
He was an ordinary boy that did nothing bad.
He dreamed of sailing. (The boy found it very rad!)
His mother a weaver. A sailor, the boy's dad.

Day by day, the boy asked his father for a long trip out towards the sea.
But his father said no, no matter the boy's plea.
Disappointed, the boy ran away with his dad's boat. (The boy knew this was a baaaaaaad deed.)

    Throughout the boy's lasting days,
He went through blinding sun rays.
The boy longed for the home he left at the bay
When he found land, on the sand he laid.

The boy fell to a deep sleep.
When he awoke, the first people he saw made him leap.
He found the police next to a jeep.
The boy was taken to jail and put to sleep.

The boy was in jail for years three.
The people always said the boy was a bad seed.
Now you wonder where this boy can be.
I will tell you where, the boy is me.
