I love him
It’s true
Or is it true?
Is it an obsession?
No, I am denying myself of the truth
Or am I?
Could it be I am just like everyone else?
Impossible, I love him more than the stars
More than the sky
The clouds
The Earth
Or maybe I don't
Maybe I only love his defying exterior
Couldn't be true
I love him more than the birds in the sky
The plants on the ground
The trees in the forest
Or do I?
Is it possible that I could actually be tearing my heart out for nothing?
No, of course not
I love him more than the leaves on the trees
The petals on the flowers
The feathers on the birds
Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me; really?
Couldn't be, isn't true
I love him more than the grassy plains
More than the stones on the mountains
The rain on my face
The rain on my face isn't rain, it is tears
Tears trailing down every curve of my skin
Until it finally lands to the ground with a splash
Could these tears be fake?
Why, no, they are not
Because, I love Martin more than anything you could imagine; it couldn't be fake

- Title: True Love
- Artist: Rose Mason
- Description: I wrote this poem because, well, I didn't really know the poem had meaning until I read it aloud to myself however so many times. It represents besically to everyone out there that true love can really make an impact; this poem is about the impact that Martin (as you hve heard about him in many of my pieces) has thrown upon me.
