I am not a delicate Flower
Winds are just trying their hardest to uproot me
Pedals nearly torn off, nearly gone
Yet here’s my claim, right where I’m standing
I’m not a delicate piece of glass
An object to be handled with gloves and special care
I do not belong wrapped in bubble wrap
Don’t even think of placing me high on a shelf
I am not a delicate little female
Bowing to the whims of others is not my wish
Come into this century, this era
There is a new time, women, females are not what they seem
- Title: Not so delicate
- Artist: h_a_m_247
- Description: A poem I write when I got into a fight with my dad basically saying that I couldn't do anything because I was a female and that I shouldn't be doing/saying half the stuff that I was doing/saying.
