In the darkness
There is no light.
But don’t worry,
You’ll be alright.
I’ll watch over you,
With my eyes so strong.
I’ll be there,
Even though I’m now gone.
On a blazing day,
I’ll shade you from the sun.
I’ll never lose thoughts of you,
Not even one.
When you sleep,
I’ll protect you from your frights.
I’ll be there
when you turn out the lights.
