Rudolf the Reindeer

• Description: i wrote this a few years back when my teacher told us to write an animal-related poem. Apparently i couldn't compose my own poem on the spot, so i used "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" song and changed it to "Rudolf the Black-nosed Reindeer" instead. :) enjoy! * PS. Take note: "Rudolf" is my character, "Rudolph" is the original.

Rudolf the black-nosed reindeer
Has a very dark, dull nose
Unlike the story's reindeer
Whose nose has a shiny glow

So he became very cross
And wanted to be special
So that instead of Rudolph
He will lead Santa Claus' sleigh

One fine morning as he trotted down the lawn
He stuck his foot in a rabbit hole
So Rudolf fell right down face-flat
He got up again, his nose stinging red!

So now Rudolf got his wish
But he wasn't happy
'Cos 'though he's now Rudolph
His nose would not stop stinging!
