• We all have a butterfly

    We all have a butterfly
    that takes the form
    of beauty through our eyes

    They are all different
    and come in many shapes, sizes, and colors
    those of which we have never seen
    and never shall
    for we cannot see
    these butterflies we have

    So what is their purpose?
    allways following as we lead
    watching and observing never leaving
    waiting for an event that may not occur

    This event I speak of is not rare
    but it still may not happen
    for the event is not planned
    nor is it random

    When it occurs
    time will stop
    but only for a moment

    As two butterflies switch owners
    and assume the form of their new masters
    then meld with them
    to become one

    And we follow our old butterflies
    as they lead us to our true loves
    who we see
    as beauty through our eyes
